How to Imbed A Slideshow on You Website
Most people have heard of Flickr, you may have even uploaded your photos to the site and sent a few invitations for people to view youw groups or slideshow. But now what do you do with it? Sure, some people put a link on their website to the slideshow, but it’s not very elegant.
Check out SlideFlickr. This super simple tool allows you to add your albums or photo streams in an embeddable slide show. The great thing is that it’s still simple to update the slideshow with new images, without having to do a lot of programming.
All you need to do is drop in a Flickr username or the URL of the group or photoset and SlideFlickr generates the code for you to imbed.
SlideFlickr also has a simpler Facebook application that involes copying and pasting over an eight-digit slide show identification code. It will then place the slide show on your profile for everyone to see. SlideFlickr’s slide shows look just like Flickr’s, with simple back and forth buttons and an upcoming stream of photos on the bottom.
Advanced options allow you to customize the widget’s size. The Flickr slideshow operates just as it would on Flickr’s site, letting viewers flip through photos and choose the slideshow’s speed.
