The Internet Marketer – The One Thing You Need To Create Passive Income and Earn Money Online – Pt 9

In an earlier article I mentioned that there are many ways for an internet marketer to earn money online. A quick list would include:

• Affiliate Marketing
• Product Creation
• Blogging
• Dropshipping
• Website Flipping / Renovation
• Ebay

Some are easier and others require considerable knowledge to make work. All require considerable work to earn money. If somebody tells you that you will be earning thousands of dollars per week with just seven mouse clicks, they are, at the kindest interpretation, exaggerating.

Beware of vendors who promise that they will set you up with a monetized website you can activate with three clicks and they will send you money each fortnight. At best, they will create a “cookie cutter” website full of duplicated material that will be impossible to rank in Google, or anywhere else. Your “only” task is to drive traffic to the website. Your only task in these cases may as well be “only” to part the Red Sea on your way out of Israel!

I have even, unfortunately, signed up for sites like this where, after checking out what they offered, discovered I had just paid them to become an affiliate for them. Bargain! For them. Nevertheless, one should learn from one’s mistakes. If you are smart, you can learn from others mistakes. It may not be as much fun, but it does save time.

As I have said before, get yourself a plan that has worked previously for others. Follow this plan and put in the time and effort required. Do not be distracted by the endless offers of endless riches which arrive in your email inbox if you follow the latest trend, glitch, loophole or shiny bauble. What I finally did was to unsubscribe from all but the one plan I had decided to follow. Instead of wasting time doing a bit of this and a bit of that, I focused and followed a proven plan until it worked and I became an internet marketer who actually earned money online.

Get a plan like the one referred to in my bio box. Follow the plan until you begin to make money. Once you have made money the first time on the internet, it is so much easier to do it again.

Now I will tell you a secret which is seldom mentioned to the newbie internet marketer. It is the secret which validates my previous statement about earning money online being so much easier to replicate when you have succeeded once. A secret which is a two edged sword, as I will explain.

The most effective and profitable way to create passive income and earn money online is to set up multiple streams of income. Instead of being an affiliate for just one product, drive customers to multiple products. Once you have created your first internet product and have it selling, find another niche to fulfill. Create a brand new product, or a complementary product to your first. Create a blog which builds on and enhances your efforts. Monetize your blog with Adsense or a Clickbank RSS feed.

Build a list of satisfied customers who have already bought from you, and been happy with their product. Set up an autoresponder sequence and market to them again. And again. Give quality and deliver what you say you will deliver and they will buy from you over and over. You have undoubtedly heard it many times already: The money is in the list. And it is undeniably true. If you are going to go to the trouble of finding these customers and sending them to a website, whether it be your own or an affiliate, don’t waste them. Do not send them on, hopefully receive your affiliate commission and then never see them again.

Once you begin as an internet marketer, you absolutely must begin to build a list of people who have passed your way on the internet, and you must begin to build a relationship with them. When these articles lead you to the stage of opening your new website, sales and creating a list will be your top priorities.

So what is the other side of this two edged internet secret?

Consider, you create a little website selling meditation cushions that you have sourced from a lovely man in Idaho. It goes okay and is soon earning you 0 per month with the prospect of more if you play your internet cards right. Your website requires hosting so people can see it on the internet. Some hosting companies charge up to per month to host your site.

Now your plan is to set up ten websites a month to the stage where they are each earning 0 per month. Gradually you start to earn passive income of ,500 per month. Not bad. So if ten websites earn you ,500 per month, then in a year you will have 120 websites, each earning 0 per month. Before you know it, well, not really considering all the time and effort you have put in, you are earning ,000 per month! And you are spending ,800 a month in hosting! ,600 per year! Probably more than your current yearly wage.

Are you beginning to see a problem?

Perhaps you need a plan which will guide you through the puzzle. Have I said that before?

In the next article we will discuss which method we, as an internet marketer, will use to set up multiple streams to create passive income online. A simple, detailed plan that has worked for others and can work for you.

If you’re trying to make money online, you could be tempted by opportunities that promise fast payouts and colossal returns. Like most things in life, it usually not that simple. If you see opportunities like this, they may use unscrupulous methods of making money or worse yet, be entirely illegitimate. To avoid being suckered by one of them, plan to get rich a little more slowly. An Internet marketer who’s serious about online success understands that these kinds of schemes don’t work and that a legitimate online business is one where work is actually required and wealth is built over time. When you see the ads about making so much money in 24 hours, or 48 hours, or 1 month, it’s a bold face lie! Here is a rule of thumb:  if it sounds too good to be true, chances are, it is.  The first red flag of a scam is that the program will tell you that it is easy to earn up to 00 a day. If you are searching for a free ride to success, chances are it simply isn’t going to happen.

No Investment Required

Want to make a salary off the internet with no Investment? Don’t worry; there are plenty of ways to make real money online for free. That’s right, no initial investment is required. Making money online will take some time and some resourcefulness, but you can succeed without any out of pocket investment. You will need at least one product to offer; otherwise it will be impossible to make money. By doing a Google Search for Free Affiliate Programs you can find many interesting and unique products to represent online. Some companies even give you a free website to market their products. It is definitely possible to make money online with absolutely NO investment!  You have the potential to earn great income using a simple plan of generating an ongoing income that will continually bring in thousands per month after only a couple hours of set-up time. Having your very own profitable home base business is a reality.

Keep Focus

Losing focus sets you up for failure. Will you put yourself on a day by day schedule to do what’s needed with your new internet business? We all know those people that jump from one project to the next, on and/or offline. You cannot do that and be successful. You have to devote 6-12 months and work as hard as you can on a project. You did your research beforehand and you saw the potential therefore, do not quit it the middle of the stream. See the project through. The last tip to help you stay focused on your online business is to work from an office. There are far too many inadvertences when it comes to working from your living room couch or kitchen table. Having an office to work from will cast away the possibility of you watching some television or taking yet another snack break.

To become successful with any work at home Internet business you need to first believe in the opportunity. In addition, confidence is the key to dominance. Never lose your self-confidence while trying to make money online.

There are a lot of people who are making money online while you are reading this article. You can too, if making money online is one of your major goals. Now, it is much easier then you may think it is. But, let me warn you, however.

It is not as easy as some people will lead you to believe it is. It will take hard work, focus, determination, consistency and persistence from you. Needless to say that by hard work I mean “smart” and “hard” work. We have to put in the quality and the quantity required.
Do you need every single one of these character traits? Probably not, but you need at least one thing. You can make money online if you want it bad enough. Because then you are willing to do whatever it takes to make it happen.

The first principle in Napoleon Hill’s “Think and Grow Rich” is desire. Do you think it’s a coincidence? I don’t think so. And for Hill the level of our desire should be a “burning obsession”. It’s no doubt that desire comes first. And I don’t mean wishful thinking. I mean a magnificent obsession.
Now, you can have a real desire to make money online but you don’t have a clue on how to get started. That’s ok. Let me give you a three step plan about what you can do for an internet home business.

But first, I want to warn you. Everybody will tell you to start with what you are passionate about. That makes sense, doesn’t it? But let me tell you this. Starting with what you are passionate about can be a real problem. Why? Just because you could be the only one who is passionate about that service, concept or product! It’s much better to have passionate customers, believe me.

These are the three steps, (the three rules I would say), that I suggest.

1. The first thing to do is to find a market or a niche. I mean a “hungry crowd” if you prefer. You have to find people who are looking for solutions. The more desperate these people are in this specific market, the better is your niche. So the first thing to do is to find a market. Not the other way around.

2. Now, this “hungry crowd” must be willing to pay for your service or product. There are a lot of people out there, really interested in as many things as you can imagine, they are really passionate about them. But, and it’s a big but, they want these things for free. How do you know? Look at your competition. If people are spending money advertising and promoting their offer, it means one thing. There is a market for their product. If there is no competition, there is no market.

3. The third step is to make your customers an offer they can’t refuse. You have to stand out from the competition. That’s where your passion, your personality and your imagination come into play. If you can make an irresistible offer to a “hungry crowd willing to pay for your product”, you are in business.

And the more successful you are in your business the more passionate about your business you become. That’s what following your passion means to me.

To make this desire work for you in order to make money online, you need to find the people that are most likely to want what you have. This can be done by finding groups that relate to your product or areas where those types of people generally go in their day to day lives. Once you have pinpointed these locations, you can make a concentrated effort to advertise there thus increasing your chances of acquiring new customers. The better you are at pinpointing your market, the more successful your advertising will be.

The next step in making the desires of others work for you to make money online is to word your advertisements in a way that the person feels that they need to come to you for their needs. The best thing to do is to word your ads with a sense of urgency. When consumers feel that they need to rush in order to take advantage of something that they desire, they are more likely to do so. If you do not create this need to hurry, consumers may think about something for too long and they may find someone who can offer the same thing to them and go with the other business. You want them to come to you.

Just like any other ways of doing business have methods, they are ways to promote affiliate programs in order to make sales for your publisher and yourself. Some sets of people make over 8 figures monthly by promoting affiliate program products, and again, some sets of people make monthly by promoting affiliate program. You see; people that make money and people that don’t make money are online, just as offline. The reason why these guys make 8 figures monthly is because they have a range of marketing methods that work well for them and as for those that doesn’t make any money online, though they have their own range of marketing methods but it doesn’t work for them. The reason may be because they don’t do it well. I have been working with affiliate programs for years now and since then I have made thousands of dollars.
