Desmond Ong, over at Desmond Blog wrote an interesting article, titled “The Blog Flipping Formula“.

In my opinion, what he outlined in his blog post is actually all what beginner blog flippers should do, with a 99% success rate – guaranteed.

Guaranteed? Yes, because I’ve seen in the website buying and selling marketplaces, such as Sitepoint.com, startup or early-staged blogs have a lot of appeal – the proof: the number of comments and bids on the blogs.

Desmond’s strategy to flip blogs is as follow:

1. Create a blog (preferably WordPress – ed.)
2. Design custom banners and headers (DIY or hire a freelancer).
3. Blog on a (popular and hot) niche.
4. Find a good PLR ebook.
5. Use a premium theme.

Desmond explained interestingly about what he did to one of his blog he has just flipped: Just sell an ebook offered on your about-to-flipped blog, and you’re in business – Create a listing in online marketplaces, such as SitePoint.com and just mentioned your ebook sales (with proof) and use an assumption about how far you could go if you sell just an ebook a day.

Very, very interesting strategy, and very much possible to do!
